PeptideIntel ("we", "our", or "us") operates the PeptideIntel mobile application and website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.
PeptideIntel is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personally identifiable information to use our Service. You can use all features of the app anonymously.
Anonymous Device Identifier: When you first open the app, we generate a random, anonymous device identifier that is stored locally on your device. This identifier is used solely to associate your preferences, watchlists, and favorites with your device. It cannot be used to identify you personally and is not linked to any personal information.
Legacy Subscription Information: PeptideIntel no longer promotes user subscriptions as the access model. If you previously subscribed, we may receive information related to your subscription status, plan type, and subscription dates from your app store provider so we can recognize legacy supporter status. Payment processing is handled entirely by third-party providers (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store); we do not directly collect or store your payment card details.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data such as pages viewed, products searched, vendors visited, watchlist activity, and feature usage to improve our Service. This data is tied only to your anonymous device identifier and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Device Information: We may collect general device information (device type, operating system, push notification tokens) to optimize the app experience and deliver notifications you have opted into.
Notification Preferences: If you opt in to push notifications, we store your push notification token and preferences to deliver those alerts. No personal contact information (such as email or phone number) is collected for this purpose.
When vendors apply to be listed on PeptideIntel, submit discount codes, or send partnership inquiries, we collect their business contact information (such as contact name and email address). This information is:
PeptideIntel is no longer promoting new user subscriptions, but existing subscribers may still be recognized as legacy supporters. For those users, we may store subscription tier, expiration, renewal status, and active status locally on your device and/or in our database linked to your anonymous device identifier.
We receive legacy subscription information from your app store provider (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) through RevenueCat. We do not have access to your payment method details. Any active legacy subscription remains managed by Apple or Google and can be cancelled through your device's subscription settings.
When you tap "Buy Now" or use a discount code, we may use affiliate tracking links. These links allow us to earn a commission on purchases you make from third-party vendors. The vendor receives your visit information according to their own privacy policy. We track clicks and coupon usage in aggregate for analytics purposes.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. We use secure databases and encrypted connections to protect your information. Since we do not collect personal information from app users, the risk of personal data exposure is minimal.
Our Service displays product information and pricing from third-party vendors. When you click a link to visit a vendor's website, you are subject to that vendor's own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party vendors.
We may use third-party services for legacy subscription management, push notifications, and analytics. These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.
We do not sell, trade, or rent any information to third parties. We may share anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be used to identify any individual. We may share anonymized click and conversion data with vendor partners for performance reporting.
Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
